Suntime Fanfare Centennial
Suntime is celebrating our 100th Fanfare newsletter. We’d like to thank you, our customers, for offering all your ideas and ways to make Suntime Fanfare more informative. Additionally, we'd like to thank John and Jonathon for being such good sports. Since September 28, 2006 they have posed for hundreds of unusual photos and then allowed our crazy art staff to manipulate and create many memorable images.

This Week's Key Match-Ups!

High Tide in the Bayou
It’s another big-time match-up in the SEC. The Alabama Crimson Tide emerged from last weekend’s contest as the number one ranked team atop the BCS.
Alabama will have little time to celebrate, for they will have to defend their new status against college football’s defending national champions; the Louisiana State Tigers. The 16th ranked Tigers will be hosting and have enjoyed a five game winning streak against the Crimson Tide.
Historically, Alabama still possesses a lead in this series: 43-25-5 since 1895.

Border War Atop the BCS
Are you ready for this? After a smack that surely left some Longhorns’ fans rubbing their faces last week, the #2 Red Raiders are looking at bucking the #8 Oklahoma State Cowboys.
Someone is going to get their feelings hurt! These two teams will meet for the first time both with a BCS ranking. Is Mike Leach of Texas Tech up for coach of the year after defeating the Longhorns? Will the Cowboys be able to turn the tide on the surprising Red Raiders?
Answers will come November 8th in Lubbock. |

Jonny Dangerously
Suntime’s very own Jonathon Stewart is not the kind of guy to break the law. But this doesn’t mean that the law didn’t try to break him. Unfortunately, Jonathon has fallen victim (literally) to the Law of Gravity during a mountain biking session over the weekend.
We have been told that Jonathon is doing well but is recovering from injuries that include a broken clavicle, a couple ribs and a punctured lung. Kept only for observation, Jonathan should be released soon form Brandon Regional Hospital in west central Florida.
All of us here at Suntime wish Jonathon a speedy recovery. If you would like to send Jonathon a get well message, just click here |
