Kentucky Wildcats Sole Undefeated Team!
After the surprising upset by upstarts Kansas State beating No. 1 ranked Texas 71-62, the University of Kentucky Wildcats are the only undefeated Division I team in college basketball. Hearts were broken in Austin, as Texas’ first-ever No. 1 ranking ended after only two short weeks.
One factor contributing to Kentucky’s undefeated status is John Wall. Many believe he is the greatest player in college basketball, virtually singlehandedly transforming the Wildcats into an excellent title contender. At the mid-season, Wildcats coach, John Calipari, may be one of the best in the nation, driving his exceptionally young team to new heights.
With less than two months left until the 2010 NCAA tournament selection deadline, the question on everyone’s mind is: can Kentucky continue?
