The bowl invitations have been handed out and accepted by their respective teams.

Undefeated TCU becomes the first team from a non automatic qualifying conference to play in a Rose Bowl. The Horned Frogs will play a tough Wisconsin team each relying on their prolific offenses.

With only two losses during the season, Oklahoma will go to the Fiesta Bowl. In what many consider the biggest mismatch of all the BCS bowls, Connecticut will face the Sooners in Arizona. When factoring Oklahoma’s recent “bowl stumbles” the Huskies still have a shot.

Virginia Tech won 11 straight games after losing their first two of the regular season. This remarkable feat earns the Hokies the right to play against Stanford in the Orange Bowl.

The Buckeyes will get their tenth chance at beating and SEC team a bowl game. Ohio State and Arkansas will match-up in the Sugar Bowl as the Razorbacks hope to maintain their conference’s dominance.

Finally, on January 10th all eyes will focus once again on Glendale, Arizona as the BCS National Championship Game will feature two undefeated teams. Both the Oregon Ducks and Auburn Tiger posses a Heisman hopefuls who will lead two of the best offensive units in college football in their quest to hoist the Coach’s Trophy.

This Saturday, December 11th the best player in college football will be awarded the Heisman Trophy.
